Product Description
The Concrete Protector's Epoxy Primer is a two-component, high solids, liquid applied, epoxy-polyamine filler with unique characteristics for sealing pores in concrete. Designed as a penetrating bonding primer for use before applying Sani-Tred waterproofing or coating systems. Primarily designed to prepare concrete floors and walls (especially basement and garage surfaces), block walls, masonry, brickwork, and wood surfaces. Low viscosity formula allows deep penetration into porous substrates for exceptional adhesion and contributes to a finished system that resists moisture and abrasion.
Mix Ratio: 1 part Part A (Black) to 1 part Part B (White)
Coverage: 200-300 sq. ft. per gallon (depending on porosity)
Recommended Film Thickness: 7 mils
Pot Life: 30-45 minutes (1.5 gal volume)
Recoat/Topcoat: 12 hours
Dry to Touch: 4-6 hours
Viscosity: 30 (+/-5) cpois
Hardness: Shore D = 70 (+/-5)
VOC: 91 grams per liter
Shelf Life: 1 year in unopened containers

How to Use:
Combine the 2-component epoxy: 1 Part A (Black) to 1 Part B (White). Do NOT mix in an up and down motion
Mix for 2-3 minutes using a low-speed drill, scraping sides and bottom of container. Working time is 20-30 minutes depending on temperature. Only mix what you can apply within that time
Pour primer onto the surface and spread using a roller or brush
Apply evenly at a rate of 200-300 sq. ft. per gallon, depending on porosity
Allow primer to tack up (4-6 hours). Do not allow to sit longer than 24 hours without topcoating. If surface is very porous, a second coat may be needed
