Product Description

The Concrete Protector's Epoxy Basecoat is a two-component, 94% solids colored epoxy coating designed for applications where a high solids primer is needed before applying high solids or 100% solids topcoats for build coats over concrete. This product is a key component of The Concrete Protector's Protector Flake System. Suitable for many chemical exposure environments and offers excellent durability with oil and salt resistance.

Limitations:

  • Substrate temperature must be 5°F above dew point
  • All new concrete must be cured for at least 30 days prior to application
  • Color stability or gloss may be affected by high humidity or chemical exposure
  • Not UV color stable, topcoat recommended but optional
  • Curing is inhibited with temperature below 60°F

How to Use:

  1. Combine 2 parts of Part A to 1 part of Part B and mix well with slow speed until thoroughly mixed
  2. Pour onto surface in puddles or ribbons
  3. Apply to concrete surface using a 3/8" nap roller and/or notched squeegee, or magic trowel
