Product Description
The Concrete Protector's Edging Tool 7" Crystal Drop Non-Threaded Cup Wheel is a diamond grinding tool designed for aggressive material removal, such as leveling uneven concrete, removing coatings, and preparing surfaces for further polishing on the edges of concrete surfaces. Optimized for edge work with durable, long-lasting diamond segments. Coverage 2,000-5,000 sq. ft. Sold individually.
Specifications:
- Diameter: 7"
- Attachment: Non-Threaded (uses flange, adapter, and lock nut)
- Abrasive Material: Diamond
- Coverage: 2,000-5,000 sq. ft.
- Packaging: 1 piece
Key Benefits:
- Aggressive material removal for quickly grinding down high spots, leveling uneven surfaces, and removing coatings
- Optimized for edge work - designed to grind close to edges and corners
- High-quality diamond segments provide extended wear resistance
Limitations:
- Coarse grits not for fine polishing - designed for aggressive grinding and material removal
- Limited to edge work - not meant for large-scale surface grinding
- Requires a compatible grinder with the correct setup
How to Use:
- Align the cup wheel onto the grinder's spindle and use the appropriate flange, adapter, and lock nut to secure it
- Use a wrench to tighten the lock nut firmly but avoid over-tightening
- Start at low speed and gradually increase the RPM to the recommended range (4,000-7,500 RPM)
- Move the grinder in smooth, overlapping strokes for even material removal
- Keep the wheel flat against the surface for a consistent grind and tilt slightly when needed to reach edges
