Clear Neat Coat Epoxy Kit

The Concrete Protector's Neat Coat is a 100% solids, two-component, low VOC cyclo aliphatic amine epoxy designed for seamless high build floor applications. Recommended for use as a base coat in the Metallic Marble system and as a standalone protective floor coating, it delivers excellent durability, outstanding abrasion resistance, and protection against most common chemicals. With a compressive strength of 6,800 psi and tensile strength of 5,500 psi, Neat Coat provides a tough, long-lasting surface for concrete floors subject to foot traffic and daily wear. Available in 3 Gal and 15 Gal kits.

Cure Schedule (at 75°F):

• Pot Life: 20 minutes
• Tack Free: 8-10 hours
• Recoat/Topcoat: 6-16 hours

Chemical Resistance:

• Long term immersion: 10% Sodium Hydroxide
• 72 hour immersion: 50% Sodium Hydroxide
• 8 hour splash/spill: Butanol, Xylene, Gasoline, Ethylene Alcohol, 10% Sulfuric Acid, 10% HCl
• 2 hour splash/spill: 1,1,1 Trichloroethane, Skydrol B4, 5% Acetic Acid
• Not recommended: Methanol, MEK, 70% Sulfuric Acid

Limitations:

• All new concrete must be cured 28 days before application
• Coverage rates depend on application method, surface porosity, and applicator
• Product may be slippery when wet
• May darken the surface of new and existing concrete substrates — test prior to use
• Apply directly out of the bucket onto the floor during application

How to Use:

1. Premix Part A and Part B separately for 3-5 minutes
2. Combine 2 parts Part A with 1 part Part B
3. Mix at low speed for 3 minutes
4. Pour mixed Neat Coat into another bucket and mix for 30 seconds
5. Pour onto concrete surface and spread with a 3/8" nap roller, 3/16" notched squeegee, or magic trowel
