Product Description

The Concrete Protector's Epoxy Basecoat is a two-component, 94% solids colored epoxy coating designed for applications where a high solids primer is needed before applying high solids or 100% solids topcoats for build coats over concrete. This product is a key component of The Concrete Protector's Protector Flake System. Suitable for many chemical exposure environments and offers excellent durability with oil and salt resistance. 7.5 gallon size ideal for large projects and commercial applications.

Key Benefits:

Limitations:

  • Substrate temperature must be 5°F above dew point
  • All new concrete must be cured for at least 30 days prior to application
  • Color stability or gloss may be affected by high humidity or chemical exposure
  • Not UV color stable, topcoat recommended but optional
  • Curing is inhibited with temperature below 60°F

How to Use:

  1. Combine 2 parts of Part A to 1 part of Part B and mix well with slow speed until thoroughly mixed
  2. Pour onto surface in puddles or ribbons
  3. Apply to concrete surface using a 3/8" nap roller and/or notched squeegee, or magic trowel
