ESD Anti-Static Conductive Primer 2 Gal Kit (Special Order)

The Concrete Protector's CP-411 Anti-Static Conductive Primer is a two-component epoxy primer specifically developed as the base coat for The Concrete Protector's Static Dissipating Urethane Top Coat. It delivers excellent static dissipative, abrasion, and chemical resistance properties for environments where electrostatic discharge control is critical, including computer rooms, laboratories, aircraft hangars, chemical plants, and solvent storage areas. Retains conductive properties regardless of temperature and performs well at all humidity levels.

Cure Schedule (at 75°F):

• Pot Life: 1-3 hours
• Tack Free: 1-3 hours
• Recoat/Topcoat: Do not topcoat until electrical resistance reaches 10^6 ohms or lower (may require up to 24 hours)
• Light Foot Traffic: 3-6 hours
• Full Cure: 2-7 days

Physical Properties:

• Coverage: 229-320 sq ft per gallon at 5-7 mils wet thickness
• Film Thickness: 5-7 mils wet (yields 3 mils dry)
• Adhesion: 380 psi (concrete failure, no delamination)
• Viscosity: 500-1,500 cps
• Abrasion Resistance: 23.0 mg loss (Taber CS-17, 1,000g load, 500 cycles)
• Impact Resistance: Gardner Impact direct 50 in. lb. (passed)
• Flexibility: No cracks on 1/8" mandrel
• VOC: 3.63 lbs per gallon
• Shelf Life: 6 months (unopened)

Limitations:

• All new concrete must cure at least 30 days before application
• Slab on grade requires a moisture barrier
• Substrate temperature must be 5 degrees F above dew point
• Do not topcoat until electrical resistance is 10^6 ohms or lower
• Too thick of an application may result in product failure
• Colors may be affected by high humidity, chemicals, temperatures, or sodium vapor lighting
• Color may vary from batch to batch

Application:

1. Pre-mix Part A and Part B separately
2. Combine 1 part Part A with 1 part Part B; mix thoroughly with a low-speed drill until well blended and streak free
3. Apply to surface using a brush or 3/8" nap roller
